Splatter: Love, Honor and Paintball

Lonnie Schuyler - Writer/DirectorLonnie Schuyler
Writer/Director

Lonnie Schuyler's many credits include the role of James Bonham on the James Michner mini-series "Texas." He was also a series regular on the Aaron Spelling series "Melrose Place" and "Models, Inc." This is Lonnie's third full-length feature. His second feature went on to receive several awards and his first... just sucked. Lonnie is proud to be a part of Dances With Films.

Bruce Elgin - ProducerBruce Elgin
Producer

Bruce Elgin has been active in the independent film community for over ten years. He has an MFA in screenwriting and has written nearly twenty feature length screenplays. In addition to producing Splatter and Collapse in 2009, he has directed two features, Jenny's Blog and The Offering. Over the years Bruce has worked in every position available on a movie set.

Christine Youngstrom - Production DesignerChristine Youngstrom
Production Designer

Christine Youngstrom received a MFA in Film And Video Production from the University of Iowa in 1996. Subsequent to that she moved to Los Angeles and was the Art Department Coordinator on a number of successful television series and movies of the week including Wasteland, G. vs. E, Live From Baghdad, Felicity, and Alias. She filled that same role on the feature films Peacock, Star Trek (2009), The Game Plan, Mission Impossible 3, Ali, and Finding Graceland. She was the Production Designer for The Woman Chaser, winner of the 2000 South by Southwest Festival Audience Award and the 2000 Florida Film Festival Special Jury Award. In 2009 she was Production Designer for three Iowa based independent films - The Offering, Splatter, and Collapse. She currently has a screenplay and several documentary projects in development.

Eric Dean Freese - Director of PhotographyEric Dean Freese
Director of Photography

Eric has been a filmmaker since the age of five, when his parents purchased a Sears Super 8 Camera (which still works). Writing and filming skits with the neighborhood kids evolved into a team of marginally-competent, but enthusiastic, young filmmakers. The award-winning cinematographer has worked on everything from no-budget experimental films, to documentaries, to commercials and industrials, to short and feature films. Eric has BA degrees in Art (Graphic Design and Photography) and Cinema (Studio Production) from the University of Iowa. When not on set, he continues to make art and spend time with his wife and new son.
